A Call to Put God in Our Minds and to Feast In His Presence

God is going to reveal His faithfulness in many ways in 2019, but we must put Him in our minds and choose to feast in His presence. As we step into His dance, we will experience His way. 2019 will be a Year of God’s Faithfulness. When we move with His rhythm, we will experience His faithfulness. We must catch the rhythm, move to the dance, respond to His breath, and shine with His light. He is going to show His faithfulness in diverse, unique and personal ways. You know He loves you, now watch as He demonstrates His love in violent and life-transforming ways.

God is going to free us from the places of being stuck when we focus on Him and feast in His presence. This is an excerpt from my book, Worship and Praise, a Response to Love:

The two prophets essential to the continuation of the building of the temple were Zechariah and Haggai. The name Zechariah means, memory of the Lord. The name Haggai means, feast. Worship and praise puts God in the minds of the people. It releases a sound and experience of feasting in the presence of Christ. Without a revelation of who God is and an experience that God is, there is no reality of the temple of God.

Ezra 5:1-2 Then the prophet Haggai and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophets, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. So Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to build the house of God which is in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God were with them, helping them.

Ezra 6:15-18 Now the temple was finished on the third day of the month of Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius. Then the children of Israel, the priests and the Levites and the rest of the descendants of the captivity, celebrated the dedication of this house of God with joy. And they offered sacrifices at the dedication of this house of God, one hundred bulls, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, and as a sin offering for all Israel twelve male goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel. They assigned the priests to their divisions and the Levites to their divisions, over the service of God in Jerusalem, as it is written in the Book of Moses.

Remembering God in our hearts and feasting in His presence are essential to knowing the truth of being a temple of His presence. Worship and praise are testimonies of indulging in God’s presence. When we indulge in God’s presence it releases a sound that causes others to think on God. God’s presence releases an experience of life. It releases an experience of feasting with Him. These are not Old Covenant attributes of sackcloth and ashes. They are not expressions of abstaining from some work of the flesh. These two prophets symbolize New Covenant experiences and expressions of life! These are expressions of indulging in God’s presence and extravagantly experiencing the life of His Spirit.
